UM Racing aluminum high flow air boxes are made to maximize the air flow to your quads motor. By increasing the air flow you gain horsepower and improve throttle response. UM has seen a 4 to 7 horsepower gain (depending on the model) after installing the air box and rejetting. When using the UM Racing aluminum air box you must re-jet to accommodate for the increased air flow. We recommend using UM Racings air filter for the air boxes. (except for the TRX 400EX and Raptor 660). All the high flow aluminum air boxes are made from high quality air craft aluminum all the seams are welded not fused like some other air boxes on the market. What this means is that the UM Racing air boxes will last longer, stay together, and not come apart at the seams.
UM Racing high flow air box filter covers are made from heavy duty woven nylon material. Made for the UM Racing high flow air boxes, these covers offer maximum air flow to the air box while still protecting the air filter from larger items that could clog the filter
